I recently found these vintage napkins my mom gave to me as a gift. I have not had the heart to use them because they are handmade and so pretty. I love the stitching and the texture of the fabric. When we placed them against this dark, moody background, they seemed to take on a different personality. So here is our nod to cream and black. It will make me think about putting on a cream shirt with the black pants, or maybe including this on our Thanksgiving table in some way. It is a striking color combination that includes a little bit of vintage and a little bit of modernism. The perfect combination for visual balance.
