ADVENTURES

Our cookie exchange was so much fun today! It was wonderful to see what each person decided to bake. I love to see the use of different ingredients, or techniques that I normally might not try.

Here are some of the pictures from the party. First, we have Shannon’s peanut butter squares. These are no bake, which makes then super easy! Shannon has a blog called Kaleidoscope Kitschen and you can see the recipe she made today here.

Amy made these cute-as-a-button jam thumbprints. These are the perfect two bite cookie! Amy has a wonderful blog called Amy Blogs Chow, and a series of videos called Stupidly Simple Snacks.

Nicole was the pioneer who knew we would be on cookie overload, so she made brownies. She added peanutbutter chips to the cake like brownies. There were SUPER good!

These peanut butter cookies were the super surprise for me. Tracy made these gluten-free peanut butter cookies and they are so good. I was shocked they were gluten free. Even though they have no flour, they still have that wonderful texture that you wish for in a peanut butter cookie.

Lastly, we have my favorite cookie of all time: Chocolate Crackles. These cake like, sugar loaded, over chocolate cookies are my go-to holiday cookie. I use very good chocolate to improve the taste. Of course the recipe is by Martha Stewart, my cookie hero.

We hope you have fun baking this holiday season!
