Well if you happen to catch the little glimpse of snow in NYC, you may have been one of the lucky ones. It was in and out as quick as that. This time of year always gets me excited for snow. We live on the 7th floor of a building, so we get a great look across the city when the snow falls. I even think our dog Nero likes it, after he figures out what it is.

Since the snow didn’t last like I wanted it to, I figured the next best culinary thing to do was to get cream puffs! Billowing mounds of cream between pastry and sprinkled with powdered snow, I mean sugar. The funny thing is that I think the real snow lasted longer than my cream puff.

Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.
