Even thought it is ‘technically’ spring, I am using this time to squeeze in the last bit of cooking with citrus the season will offer. There are many verities of oranges, lemons and grapefruits at the stores. A few weekends ago, I made my first marmalade from pink grapefruit. Having never canned with citrus before, it takes three long days to remove the bitterness from it and make it sweet enough to eat.
Which citrus recipes are your favorite? I would love to make a good lemon cake or tart.
