Whipped to Perfection

With summer right around the corner, there is a staple I need to keep stocked in our fridge. Heavy cream! That’s right. It’s a go to for a quick fruit dessert or summer pie topping. I just add a hair of sugar and vanilla and beat to fluffy perfection. If you know you are having this for dessert, throw a bowl and your metal beaters in the freezer. This makes the cream whip up faster. I am sure I saw it on some cooking show and now it is a step I always remember. 

We will be focusing on some of the most beautiful, yet useful foods in the next few months. There is nothing more beautiful or delicious than a dessert piled with pillowy whipped cream during the summer months. Enjoy!
