ADVENTURES

This is the No Makeup Home Tour, where we give you a look at our home without the primping and over styling. At the end of the post, I link out to all the other homes on the tour! Be sure to checkout all the homes.

When we took the images for this post, our house was unusually clean because we just had company leave. To tell you the truth, we are pretty tidy people. We put things away at night or we do a 15 minute clean up in the morning. The worst offenders are dead flowers. I don’t know why but it takes me forever to throw them out!

Last year we participated in the first no makeup home tour and we really shared it all. If you want to see the third floor and the real nitty gritty, see the eye bleeding images here.

House of Brinson

The dogs have made this couch into their dog bed. I’m going to burn it and buy two dogs beds that are stylish enough to be out and not offend my eyes. Nero loves this couch so much, I just can’t get rid of it… yet.

Sugar has this spot where she works her shift as a window manager.

Unfinished bathroom. I don’t like any of the wall paper samples. The search continues.

More dead flowers.

If anyone needs advice on laundry care, I’m your expert. I wash a lot of sheets.

House of Brinson

This corner of our bedroom was leak free this winter meaning I can wall paper. I can’t use really fancy wall paper since I’m worried about the leak returning. I’m also settled on changing the color of our bedroom.

Our guest book with more dead flowers.

These guys are still alive. Be strong.

Sometimes I buy furniture and one of the dogs claims it. I had no idea Sugar was a pink needlepoint dog. Her deer watching spot.

  1. Dead florals and all…your home is A-MAZING!!!!!! Srsly, not enough exclamations in the world to express my love for Stony Ford.

My dogs are the same way. Nero is so cute, you can’t say no to that face… plus all dog beds are ugly anyway. Just let him keep the sofa 🙂 xo

  3. Patricia says:

Your home is stunning! Do have a source for the paint colors used? I’m especially interested in the color in the first photo. Thanks!
